Hi - Thanks for visiting our blog!

We are an Australian couple that moved to Berlin in December 2012 with our dog. Physically we are 30 somethings, but mentally more 20 something!

We love travelling and new experiences, and aside from various other travels we spent a year travelling the world in 2011, which you can read about in our completed travel journal Runways and Rails. We found through these travels that we only got 'tastes' of the places we went to yet never the full immersion because we moved from place to place too quickly.

While travelling we looked for places we may one day move to, and Berlin was our hands down winner with such things as:

• cheaper living costs than places like New York, Amsterdam, London and Munich
• fascinating history
• outstanding night-life
• very dog friendly
• great transport
• central European location
• and so much more...

So on our return to Australia from our round-the-world trip we made immediate plans to move to Berlin. We stayed just one year to top up our savings and get organised and then packed up for Berlin.

VagabondBohemian is a reflection of our time here as we discover the city for ourselves.
